Analysis and suggestion

Initially the customer envisaged us developing individual websites for each of the services within their portfolio. However, after analysing the market and the service offering, we came to the strategic decision that a clearly structured primary site – with separate sections for each of the Taurus companies – was more efficient and better from a market presentation, as well as a digital marketing opportunity. We therefore assumed full responsibility for creating this new instance, covering all aspects of development, from business analysis, to the UX and design process, into development and onto testing and release.

Functionality & design

With a multi-service offering, our teams paid specific attention to the site structure and clear, concise, design principals to separate the service offering into distinct sections. In addition, we developed all logs and devices, and chose unique fonts to add personality to the brand. The over-arching focus was on a minimalist and concise approach to design and lay-out.

Consequently, our teams divided the main page into the service categories that would be of clear interest to site visitors. Using content, specifically video, we were able to convey each offering clearly, demonstrating exactly what each represented.

Visually, the website is designed to look premium, emphasising the company’s market position. Segmentation across the five service offerings was achieved through a unified corporate brand, differentiated by content and clear messaging.

The use of content to quickly and clearly explain the value in each of the business units, put a significant requirement on copywriting to make sure the messaging was on point. This copy was, in turn, enhanced with imagery and video to bring it to life and add clarity where necessary. Each content section was accompanied by an enquiry form, central to the lead generation process.

In summary

MIKS successfully achieved the projects main purpose – the development of a feature-rich, distinctive and engaging corporate website, showcasing the full portfolio of the company’s offerings. Following our guidance, the company received a high-end property, with a clear and harmonious structure, delivered to a minimalist yet high-impact standard. Now all client and prospect traffic lands on the primary site, driving marketing KPIs and efficacy, and the intuitive UI means that such incoming traffic immediately finds the relevant services and can convert accordingly.
